Your ongoing technology strategy partner
Websites, apps & AI. Handled, month after month.
I’m Rick. My senior team and I take over your whole digital presence — the site, the apps, the marketing, the AI — and run it like it’s our own. One partner does the work. One person picks up the phone: me.
25+ years building for the web · Senior team, one point of contact · A small, deliberate roster
Sound familiar?
You didn’t start your business to manage the technology that drives it.
Nobody owns
the tech
The website, the email, the files, the computers, the AI tools. Every decision lands on your desk by default — or doesn’t get made at all.
Vendors, but
no strategy
A website from one shop, ads from another, software nobody set up right. No one connects any of it to where the business is going.
AI is moving
without you
Competitors are automating work and showing up in AI search. You need someone who can tell you what’s real and what’s noise.
That’s the role we fill: your contracted CTO — senior technology leadership, plus a team that ships — for a fraction of the cost of hiring one.
How it works
A partnership, not a project queue.
-
01
An intro call
We talk about your business and where the web is holding it back. Thirty minutes, no pitch deck.
-
02
A 90-day plan
I audit what you have and map the first quarter — what we fix, build, and measure — in plain English.
-
03
A monthly rhythm
Then we get to work. Every month: shipped improvements, a short report, and one person to call.

Working together
Two ways in. Both honest.
Ongoing
Monthly partnership
From $5,000/month
Your contracted CTO, plus the team to execute. Your site, apps, marketing, and AI — owned, improved, and shipped every month.
- A rolling 90-day roadmap, in plain English
- Shipped improvements every month — not a report about them
- Priority response when something breaks
- Pause or wind down with 30 days’ notice
I keep the roster small on purpose. If it’s full, I’ll tell you — and you’ll go on a real shortlist, not a mailing list.
One-time
Standalone project
Scoped individually
A new website, an app, a campaign — designed, built, and launched with senior hands.
- Fixed scope, fixed price, clear timeline
- Typical range: $10k–$40k
- Senior work only — no handoffs to juniors
- Many projects grow into partnerships
What the partnership actually buys
Month one
- Full audit of your site, tech & visibility — quick wins shipped immediately
- Your 90-day roadmap, priced and prioritized in plain English
- Hosting, security & analytics put in order, under your ownership
- Email, cloud files & devices set up right — so work stops getting interrupted
Every month after
- Roadmap work designed, built & shipped — not queued
- A short report: what shipped, what moved, what’s next
- Same-day response when something breaks, and a 20-minute review call
- The boring-but-critical stuff stays working: email, files, backups, devices
Who you’re working with
Led by Rick. Built by a senior team.
I’ve been building for the web for over 25 years — long enough to have shipped through every platform, trend, and redesign cycle.
Behind me is a team I’ve worked with for years: deep engineers and marketing specialists who ship for businesses far larger than most of my clients. I scope the work, I manage them, I check every deliverable. You get big-team capability with one person to call: me.

Fair questions
Asked and answered.
Who’s a good fit?
Owner-led businesses that already have customers and want their web presence to pull its weight — home services, clinics, professional firms, restaurants, local brands. If you’re pre-launch or shopping for a $500 brochure site, I’m probably not your guy — and I’ll tell you that on the call.
Why not hire an agency?
Agencies pitch you their best people, then staff your account with their newest. Here, the person you meet on the first call is the person who scopes, manages, and answers for your work every month — and the team behind it is senior specialists, not a rotating cast of juniors.
Why not a full-time hire?
A good senior web person runs $120k+ a year, plus management. Most small businesses need one for 20 focused hours a month, not 160. That’s exactly what a partnership is.
What if I just need one project?
Then we scope one project — fixed price, clear timeline, no retainer required. If we like working together, it can grow into a partnership. Many do.
What platforms do you work with?
WordPress, Shopify, custom builds — whatever genuinely fits your business. I recommend what I’d choose if it were my own company, not what’s easiest to bill for.
Let’s find out in 30 minutes.
Tell me about your business and what the web is — or isn’t — doing for it. I’ll tell you honestly whether I can help, and exactly what I’d do first.
