Verse of the Day: Ecclesiastes 7:9

Rick, Take a Breather…

Today’s verse Ecclesiastes 7:9, is often on my mind. Admittedly, my anger has often gotten the worst of me. And it’s put me in situations I’ve often regretted.

But only with God’s help have I been able to check my feelings before telling others how I feel.

Now, I know that I have a lot more room to grow in this area… And “controlling” one’s temper seems like a lifelong process. So with that in mind, I lean on Christ every day for help. And I look to Him as an example of how I should live. And who better than He to teach me how to love…especially when I feel like doing just the opposite.
