How Much Do I Really Love God…
Today’s Verse of the Day, Deuteronomy 6:5, kind of reminds me of the first of God’s Ten Commandments, “You must not have any other god but me.” Exodus 20:3 NLT.
I know that quite often I’m spending time doing things, looking at things, going places where my heart, mind, and body need not be. And too often, I place a certain amount of priority for those things above God. And when I check myself, or I’m reminded that I’m making a big mistake, I come across a verse like today’s and I can’t help by think, “Yeah, have I really been loving God with all my heart?”
I’m so grateful that His grace and love knows no bounds. And that He brings me back into His world when I wander off too far or for too long.
Thanks, God, for Your Word… For reminding me where my heart, soul, and all my strength’s love should be focusing on.
God’s grace and love… All His blessings. It’s easy to say that I love Him. And I’m glad that my journey with Him continues and that it grows stronger more and more each day.
